Brianne Martin

I welcome you all, from doorway to doorway, soul to soul, womb to womb.
My name is Brianne Martin. I am honored to be here to share space with you!
Before starting my career as a birthworker in 2019, I worked in the school setting as a teacher, Civic Engagement Leader, Dean, and Assistant Director of an International Academy. As my husband and I welcomed three children into our beautiful family, I expanded my career as a professional nanny and early childhood development consultant running local caregiver-and-me classes, called Nanny B's Tot School.
My own experience with a breech first child, a successful VBAC with gestational diabetes, and an induction due to preeclampsia has instilled a deep empathy with many different turns in the journey through pregnancy and Laborland. Munro, Matilda and Magdalene are teaching me all of the lessons I never knew I needed. Life as a mom and wife is truly a dream come to fruition.
The time I have spent with indigenous cultures in East Africa and in sacred space with the Diné on the Navajo Nation has unearthed the importance of ritual, ceremony and the honoring of ancient Rites of Passage. These teachings have lead to me becoming a Peruvian Firewalker and Perinatal Alchemy practitioner; connecting mind, body, energy and womb through certifications in modalities such as Neuro Linguistic Programming, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Life & Success Coaching, T.I.M.E. Techniques, Tapping and Emotional Freedom Techniques, Womb Light Energy, HypnoHara facilitation and Reiki.
Birth is an ultimate Rite of Passage and sacred walk in beauty. It is my goal to support women as they journey through Laborland; sharing space as they process their emotions, research their options, meet their power and reach their goal of the most positive motherhood experience possible.
