Below you will see a general idea for the packages we can build through a partnership with Archetype Motherhood and Doula Services.
All packages are customizable and can be altered to fit ANY price point.
The General Package outlined is $1,000 with the Top Tier Plan at $1,200.
Payment plans are available with itemized receipts offered, for insurance reimbursement.
Initial meeting: As your birth doula, I will provide one complimentary meeting to discuss services and gather an understanding of the desires for your pregnancy and birth experience.
Appointments: If time-of-hire permits, up to 3 prenatal visits will be offered. The Top Tier package allows for up to 5 prenatal visits. These visits include (but are not limited to) birth options and planning, comfort measures, building your ideal birth environment, partner preparation workshop, prenatal and laboring positions and alignment techniques, meditation and hypnobirthing, mother blessing celebration and postpartum planning.
Continuous pregnancy support: A 30 minute phone consultation is offered after each doctor or midwife visit. I am further available for email, text, and phone support throughout pregnancy (7am to 9pm) and can be contacted 24/7 for emergencies.
Continuous labor support: Once active labor has been established, I will join you in your birthplace of choice as a support person, helping to gather information and facilitating communication and self advocacy with your birthplace care providers. I will provide evidence-based information, reassurance, perspective, and non-medical suggestions for comfort and labor progress. We will work together as a team, to build the birth environment, maneuver your body into the optimal positioning for bringing baby earthside while utilizing comfort measures to help provide the most positive birth experience possible.
I will be continually present until up to one hour after birth.
Post-birth: I will be in contact with the new family following your birthing day. I offer one in-hospital visit during your hospital stay and I am available for phone support for breastfeeding, newborn care, and self care for six weeks after birth. Up to two in-home postpartum visits are available during this six week period.
The Top Tier package allows for up to 3 postpartum visits throughout the entire 4th trimester and continued support via phone and text throughout the first year.
The complete package fee for birth doula services is $1,000 (The Top Tier at $1,200); a $350 non-refundable retainer is due at time of hire, with full payment completed prior to the beginning of “on call” time (38 weeks).
Any modifications to this fee and payment requirement will be outlined in our customized agreement.
